The West Coast National Park is some 30 000 hectares and offers an amazing environment in which to hike and mountain bike, partake in water sports and simply soak up the awesome atmosphere created. This trips combines sport with conservation for an exhilerating day out..

We meet at Langebaan at 9am and take a drive through the West Coast National Park to Geelbeck Restaurant for a light West Coast breakfast. Tum’s full, from here we’ll set off on our energetic 2 cycle trail to discover the beauty of the park, (watching out for the tortoises as we go and remembering to greet the ostriches!). Discovery trail over, we head down to Kraal Baai for a spot of relaxation where we prepare an awesome beach braai for you as you soak up the sun and marvel at the natural wonder surrounding you. From here we take you on a cruise of the lagoon & provide opportunity to Kayak or swim/snorkel in the lagoon waters. The highlight of the day for many people comes next as you experience the thrill of racing across the lagoon on a pair of water ski’s or skimming the water tube riding, for those that don’t wish to partake, relaxing on the beach with a beer or cool drink is a great option!

We wrap the day up with a scenic trip back through the park and into Langebaan Village where you can browse the local boutiques and sample some of the local cuisine at Pearlys or Driftwoods and and watch the sun set over the lagoon with a sundowner to end your day.

This trip can be altered to suit all ages and interests. For our bird lovers we include viewing from the bird hides, and for nature lovers from July - September we visit Postberg for the stunning flower displays. Physical activities can be ommited if you are looking for a completely relaxing day, we also enjoy short strolls and less energetic days!
