You’ll be entranced at the glass like Langebaan Lagoon, a salt water tidal lagoon and the only one of it’s kind in South Africa.

Day 1

An early start from Cape Town as we head out on the R27 to what can truly be described as paradise.

Our first stop is Buffelsfontein Private Game Reserve where you’ll start with a light breakfast before departing on your 2 1/2 hour Game Drive with your knowledgeable guide, who’ll take you up close offering an awesome gaming experience.
From here we continue along into the West Coast National Park, an awesome area of natural beauty which encases Langebaan Lagoon, home to thousands of birds and marine life. We take a scenic drive through the park to the exclusive beach at Kraal Baai, home to ‘Eve’s Footprint’, where you’ll stop for a delicious Beach Braai and spend some time soaking up the sun, swimming in the warm lagoon waters and absorbing the sheer beauty that surrounds you.

After a hearty lunch you’ll have the opportunity to Kayak on the lagoon exploring the beauty of the waters, water ski*, or tube ride the lagoon. Late afternoon we’ll head through the park into Langebaan, aptly known as the jewel of the West Coast . We take you to your accommodation for the night and the evening is yours. For most visitors Langebaan is ‘love at first sight’ , a play garden of water sports and outdoor activities, and a  great place to ‘people watch’, as children and adults play on the beach & in the lagoon, the sound of laughter is all around you and the sights offer lasting memories. The sunset at Langebaan is one of the most stunning in South Africa, we suggest you end the day with Sundowners at Pearly’s or Driftwoods, restaurants right on the beach, the perfect end to a perfect day.

Day 2

After a good nights sleep and a great West Coast Breakfast, we head off early for some exploring today. The West Coast Villages offer many unique experiences, We start with a trip to the harbour village of Saldanha, a village entrenched with history, a true journey of discovery. We’ll stop for coffee and great locally made cake’s at one of the many wonderful restaurants. From here we drive on to the fishing village of Paternoster. This unspoilt village gives you a great insight into the traditional West Coast Fishing Culture, where you’ll see fishermen returning with their catches of the day. From here we head through to St Helena Bay, with stunning golden beaches, and home to the Heavenside Dolphin, unique to the West Coast of South Africa. On to Veldriff, running along the Berg River, where a trip down Bokkom Alley will delight. We then head inland to The West Coast Fossil Park, our final stop of the day. Here you’ll be taken back to how things were 5 million years ago, as you unravel the mystery. This is s truly amazing experience and always a highlight of the trip. From here we embark on our return to Cape town, heading through the village of Darling en-route, where we’ll stop for a quick glass of wine and olive tasting as we reflect on the beauty of the West Coast.
